Launch of ECOWAS small hydro capacity needs assessment

ECREEE/UNIDO is undertaking a stakeholder and capacity needs assessment in the small scale hydro sector in the ECOWAS. The survey aims at identifying the training needs of different stakeholders. SHP experts are asked to fill the questionnaires and return them to hydro@ecreee.org as soon as possible.

EREF approves projects in 15 ECOWAS countries

ECREEE intends to award 41 projects with an overall grant amount of around 1 million Euro. An overview on the approved projects can be found in the section of the ECOWAS Renwable Energy Facility (EREF).

Launch of the ECOWAS Observatory for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiancy

The ECOWREX was launched during the ECOWAS High Level Energy Forum. It informs market enablers and investors on renewable energy potentials, contacts and projects.
